The acclaimed British writer Martin Amis is enjoying a new summer house at the exclusive Uruguayan resort of Jose Ignacio, close to Punta del Este, press reports said Tuesday. Amis---the author of The Rachel Papers, Money and Time's Arrow---plans to spend a good part of the year at his new home and has been writing, playing tennis and also started to learn Spanish by reading Uruguayan newspapers, the report said. The writer has already made the acquaintance of top Argentine model Valeria Mazza, who spends her summers at Punta del Este and also plays tennis, the reports said.
