Okay, i read most of the titles featured on the TALK webpage and i don't know if i GET IT or not. Is this Deidrick's parady? If so, my kudos to the brilliant parady. But i's afraid that this is the real thing, i.e., it is, indeed, Tina's Internet Ad for her rag-mag. How's drole, how exciting. Gee, I wish i were famous or effetely rich or artistic and queer so i could be as clever as all those people involved with this new tabloid medium which TALKS about PEOPLE.
Here i am in my little bedroom with the superb, Canadian production of O'Neil's "Long Day's Journey into Night" on Seattle's PBS on a Sunday night. I am so out-of-it, such a little dim, cosmic wallflower, a real Nobody. How come i don't feel bad? Why do i feel so elated, then? I must REALLY be out-of-it...
THAT I CAN'T READ ABOUT-not to mention-BE WITH -FAMOUS PEOPLE who TALK about each other and ABOUT WHO slept with WHOM and which gay people slept with straight people, which straight people didn't sleep with their spouses, which people slept with their pet hamsters. etc, etc, ad naseum..
Tina, I have REFUSED TO SLEEP WITH MORE FAMOUS people than you has slept with. And, i don't tell their names, like you feel you must...to turn over another buck. Oh well, that doesn't make you a bad person, just a pathetic one. Give the people what they want... huh, Tina? Whatever.
