I finally found a decent Swedish language book. It's called *Swedish: A Comprehensive Grammer* by Philip Holmes & Ian Hinchliffe. And I can almost see you collapsing onto the floor in a state of comatose boredom, but I don't give a crap. Because Swedish is my kind of foreign language. The word order is exactly like English. It's nothing but subject-verb-object all the way. I can dig it. You know how French uses a subject-object-verb word order for sentences with object-pronouns? For instance: "I see him" is "Je le voir". Even the Russians do it with "Ya yevo veezhu". The French & Russian versions are literally: "I him see". Well, there's none of that shitty-ass garbage in Swedish. "I see him" is admirably rendered as "Jag se honom". Yippy! Let's all jump for joy and click our heels in the Great White Night!
