Imagine this: Eddie Izzard as John Self, Shirley Manson (from the band Garbage) as Selina Street, that guy who plays Palmer on "All My Children" as Lorne Guyland, Sophia Loren (she's still alive, isn't she?) as Caduta, Matthew Broderick as Martin Amis, Harry Connick, Jr. as Fielding Goodney, Pierce Brosnan as Ossie Twain, Jeffrey Tambor (Hank Kingsley on "The Larry Sanders Show")as John's father, Anna Nicole Smith as his Dad's new girlfriend, Joe Strummer as John's friend that mangles the Fiasco while he's over in America, and Elizabeth Hurley as Martina Twain. Andy Dick would also be great in a quick cameo, as the actor that "freaks out" while having lunch with John. Of course, Robert Altman would have to direct.
