My Top ten Amis novels.

.) Times Arrow: Amis at his wickedest. Check it out.

.) London Fields: It is a great train station and an even better novel.

.) Money: The paperback version of this novel is made of pepsi cola. Once you have read it, you can drink it.

.) Dead Babies: 'This novel beats the shit out of anything Grisham dumps out.' - Martin Amis.

.) Collected poems 1970-1971: Only actually contains one poem.

.) Hats Off To The White Man: A controversial Biography about Kriss Akabusi, which focuses on those afro-carribeans who defer happily to white rule.

.) The day we caught the pox: A hilarious tale of one working class day out at Margate which turns sour when Amis' protagonist and narrator Fat Vince, gets arrested for impersonating John Milton.

.) The Information

.) Confessions of a Post Modern Window Cleaner: A deeply rubbish and theory laden early novel in which the window cleaner (His name is never revealed) is so conscious of the strictures of cliche and convention, he finds himself unable to admire the Female form, and eventually even regard Women at all. He befriends a pole-vaulter called Warren and they glue themselves together. I give this one five out of ten.

.) Night Train: A boring TV film script cash in which is about nothing.
