*Characterological personality/speech disparity* is the term I coined to describe the unrealistic disparity between John Self's personality and John Self's eloquence. Which is a situation that StephenP likes to bitch about. StephenP has the shallow soul of a prosaic literal-minded implausibility-buster. StephenP is a petty nitpicking noodge who likes to watch old episodes of *My Mother the Car* and then compile lists of all of the implausible details contained therein. (Implausible Detail #1: Cars don't talk.) StephenP left the following message on the Lewis Carroll Discussion Board: "Dear Alice-in-Wonderland fans: It's incumbent upon me to inform you that Lewis Carroll sucks a frozen turd. Because playing cards are incapable of vocal articulation, dammit. My tough-minded sense of realism was sorely abused when the Red Queen demanded that Alice's head be cut off. Listen here. I've been playing with playing cards my entire life, and I have yet to be threatened with decapitation by a face card. Cancel my fucking subscription."
