I thrustfully concur with Stephen Jones. Too many people erroneously view stylistic diversity as being indicative of authorial shallowness. But that's a load of poo. Stylistic diversity is fab & gear. Which is why I have Mr. Spock's *IDIC* motto tattooed on my ass. IDIC stands for "infinite diversity in infinite combinations". And it might interest you to know that my left thigh sports Mr. Spock's other motto. The one that goes: "Live long and prosper by whoring yourself out to dipshit *Star Tripe* conventioneers who live in a stupid & banal fantasy world".

Jonesy is right about the wrongheaded establishment of *London Fields* & *Money* as echt Amis. I also agree with The Steppin' Hen in regard to *The Rachel Papers*. It's an embarrassment to the Martinian oeuvre. A literary novel about a literature student. Fathom the concept. Young Master Amis and his unparalleled nonimagination.
