In all fairness, 'This Morning' (or 'the Richard and Judy Show' as we all call it, after it's married hosts) is, while popular, an extraordinarily tacky show, aimed at a very very middlebrow audience - it's all 'what Princess Diana might have been wearing the next day had she not....' and 'let's go over to Susan in the kitchen who'd making a nice summer flan...oh trouble with the mikes, let's go to ad break instead'. So Martin really won't have been too bovved, I don't think. The only reason anyone watches it really is to irk out the tension between R & J (she's much older than him, and he was once arrested or something for nickin liquor from a downmarket supermarket)...they're a 'love to hate em' sorta couple. Dreadful show, though. I'm not in the least surprised that Amis couldn't get on it. It wouldn't really do him much good to, anyway. The best that the 'Richard and Judy' faithful are into is probably Danielle Steel and, at a push, Bridget Jones.
