...and Lodge returned the favour, I remember, in the Independent on Sunday. In his series of short articles called something like 'The Art Of Fiction' Lodge devoted one week to an extract from Money (the bit about LA with the sky like snot and the Venusian taxi drivers) and showered Marty with praise. I lack the surfing wherewithal to see if it's on the net, but I doubt it.
