Regarding *Money*: Remember Stephen Jones's observation about *Good Money* turning into *Bad Money*? That motif is reinforced by a character named Gresham Tanner. John Self says: "Me and my sore back have had several meetings now with Fielding's moneymen. We had dinner in La Cage d'Or with Steward Cowrie, Bob Cambist and Ricardo Fisc. We went night-clubbing at Krud's and Parlour 39 with Tab Penman, Bill Levy and Gresham Tanner." Gresham's Law is that bad money drives out good money. Gresham's Law is not to be confused with Grisham's Law. Grisham's Law states that legal thrillers will outsell *The Information* by a ratio of 12,000 to 1. *Ricardo Fisc* refers to another economist named David Ricardo.....Somebody stop me before I pedanticize again. And what's more, I have this eerie feeling of *pedanta vu*. As if this boring crap about Gresham Tanner is something that somebody else already mentioned in a previous post.....
