Have worked in 2nd hand record shops (which looked like it was going to be cool but was hell) and temped in all manner of Hospital Departments and have helped run a cab firm and filed files in a Building Society/Bank and mounted pictures in a War Museum for insurance purposes and found myself door-to-door seliing in the middle of nowhere (by mistake!!!!!!!!) etc etc etc. Most of it not heavy or hard but most certainly repetitive and repetitive and repetitive and repetitive until I wanted to bang my head against the wall until my brain shot out of my ass/arse....
And my "holiday" was fine, thanks for asking - loads of work done, read The Long Good-Bye, drank in country pubs, watched the stars (can't be seen in London any more), hung out with wild Dartmoor Ponies and ate and ate and ate...
