I tend to agree that linguistic puritanism can be seen to be rooted in other agendas than a true concern for the state of the language. But none of this matters as much as the above quote: "MA and VF" !!!!!!!!???????? For all yanks who don't know who Vanessa Feltz is, she is a US version of Sally Jessie Raphael except three times bigger and with a third of the talent.
