The Amis Discussion Web is maintained by James Diedrick, professor of English at Albion College. It is not affiliated with Martin Amis, his publisher, or his agent. The opinions expressed are those of the highly intelligent, witty, and thoughtful individuals who post them.

The Amis Discussion Web is for discussion of topics by visitors who have read the work of Martin Amis, not for posting specific questions to the web site manager (me). If you have a specific question for me, please e-mail me directly, and I will be happy to reply.

When initiating a new topic, please keep your topic title to a maximum of 4-6 words. A recent posting was so long it took up a quarter of the entire screen. This makes it hard to navigate the site and peruse topics.

It would be helpful to those of us who want to continue certain conversations beyond the bounds of the Discussion Web if contributors would include their e-mail address in their messages. |
